So one of my New Year's Resolutions for this year, is to read more. I buy so many books because I love the feeling of holding a book in my hands, of seeing them organised on my shelves, I fall in love with the cover art. I buy books because I was an avid reader, but with time I was able to read less. SO; 2018. Lots of reading. Here's the list of books I've curated so far:
~Winter by Ali Smith
~Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
~The Hours by Michael Cunningham
~How to write like Tolstoy by Richard Cohen
~Power of Reading by Frank Furedi
~Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger
~Anything by F.Scott Fitzgerald. Anything.
~The Sun Also Rises by Ernest Hemingway
~All the light we cannot see by Anthony Doerr
~Exit West by Mohsin Hamid ~Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman ~The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows ~The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides
I'll be coming back to this blog post again and again. To cross off (in bold) what I've read, and also to add to it as the year goes on. Is there anything you would recommend?
Update (October): so far, not doing well
